Winter’s in Wisconsin are long and cold sometimes snowy. The last couple months I haven’t been out taking to many pictures that should change as the weather gets nicer this spring. Here are some photos from the last couple months enjoy. 

Grant Park. South Milwaukee, WI

Whitnall Park Milwaukee’s Largest park in the system, named after city planner Charles B. Whitnall who was instrumental in starting up the park system. Milwaukee, WI

Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, was designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1956, and completed in 1962.

It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The church is one of Wright’s last works construction was completed after his death.

 The Basilica of St. Josaphat, located in the Lincoln Village neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Modeled after St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, it features one of the largest copper domes in the world. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a designated Milwaukee Landmark.

 Stephan M. Asher Tugboat – Racine, WI  This handsome tug was built in 1954 by Burton Shipyard as the Captain Bennie. In 1982 she was renamed Dumar Scout.

Roen Salvage of Sturgeon Bay, WI acquired the tug in 1987, and renamed her Stephan M. Asher.
